Beginning a New Adventure
Greetings, adventurers!
My name is Evelyn, and I’d like to welcome you to the first of many blogs to come. Here, I’ll be sharing my thoughts, feelings, and a few random antics as I take you along on my journey to becoming an author. Since this is my first post, I thought I’d start with a little about myself.
I’ve always had a creative side, whether it was writing, art, or simply wanting to learn more about the world around me. But I’ve always been drawn to exploring other worlds too—ones found in the pages of a book. Fantasy has been my favourite genre for as long as I can remember, and a part of me has always wanted to write stories that bring joy and wonder to others. It wasn’t until after I finished university that I decided to take that step and start writing novels of my own.
I hope to bring new stories into the world that help rekindle the imagination we all have inside us. If my work can inspire even a few people, I’ll feel like I’ve achieved my goal as a writer.
Right now, I’m working on a fantasy trilogy, and I’ll be posting updates, thoughts, and maybe even some funny quotes or snippets along the way. I’m excited to share my experiences as a first-time writer, and to show that it’s not just about reaching the finish line—it’s about the small steps forward, the challenges we overcome, and the little celebrations along the way, that make the writing journey worth it.
